Namazu is a collection exploring the culture of fishermen in Japan and their connection to the sea. In particular how they have a beneficial and parasitical way towards them. Early Japan built their industry through fishing. However, it has also become a source of remorse through earthquake and tsunami. The collection primarily focuses on these give and take relationship.
